Share the vehicle year, make, model and drivetrain, whether the keys are available, and whether the wheels roll and steering works. Wheel-lift towing with dollies may suit a vehicle, but suitability depends on condition, dimensions and manufacturer instructions.
Check drivetrain, weight and wheel condition
Do not assume that a vehicle can be towed with two wheels on the road. AWD, 4WD, electric vehicles and damaged running gear require particular care. Can a parked car be towed without keys?
Sometimes. Missing keys can leave the steering, transmission or parking brake locked. Give the vehicle model, drivetrain, parking position and whether each wheel rolls. Rick’s must assess a suitable wheel-lift setup before accepting the job; do not force the shifter or steering.
What if a flatbed is required for my vehicle?
Rick’s does not offer flatbed towing. Manufacturer instructions, drivetrain, damage and access determine whether wheel-lift equipment with dollies is suitable. If it is not, the vehicle needs a provider with the required equipment. Confirm compatibility before booking.
